LYNX Transport Stream Manager   The LYNX Transport Stream Manager is Vislink’s latest offering in the LYNX series of 19” x 1RU half rack width units.
The Transport Stream Manager can operate as a very versatile node in any contribution system enabling handling and routing of ASI signals from multiple receivers or other sources to multiple destinations via IP Networks or ASI circuits. The Transport Stream Manager can handle two or four ASI inputs and can be enabled to carry out Packet Switching on these inputs, Multiplex them into one MCPC ASI and/or encapsulate the ASI signals into an IP output for routing to a specified destination. In addition the Transport Stream Manager can decapsulate up to two ASI signals from an incoming IP stream and these ASIs can be internally routed for REMUX or re-encapsulation or as direct ASI output signals. A powerful, yet simple to operate, web-based graphical user interface (GUI) provides complete remote control and monitoring for the Transport Stream Manager by means of an integrated Ethernet (RJ45) interface. The Vislink News & Entertainment LYNX series is a complete suite of units aimed at high quality or versatile contribution links. The range includes HD and SD Video Encoders, DBV-S, DVB-S2, DVB-T and LMS-T Modulators, IP Satellite Modems, Diversity Receivers, IRDs and associated units. All LYNX units utilise the versatile Vislink 19”x1RU half rack width housing for compactness and extremely light weight.
