IPRX – IP/ASI De-encapsulator  The IPRX provides a simple method of separating IP packets from an incoming ASI stream that was initially generated in an MTX5000 ENG Van transmitter.
IPRXThe MRC IPRX was designed to compliment the IP file transfer and remote control capabilities of MRC’s MTX5000 ENG Van Transmitter. At the studio, the IPRX provides an efficient means of separating pre-recorded video files from live a transmission stream. Easy to install and operate, the IPRX is a stand alone device that will separate encapsulated IP packets from an incoming ASI stream. At the ENG/OB Van, the MTX5000 can encapsulate and transmit IP in an ASI stream that may, or may not be carrying live video at the same time. When the ASI output of the downlink is passed through the IPRX, it will separate the IP packets from the ASI stream and present them through an RJ45, 10/100 BaseT, interface to the studio network.
