ADM5000 L Band IP Data ModemCompact IESS and DVB modem  The ADM5000 is a highly compact half rack-width Data Modem operating at L band over the extended range of 950-2050MHz input and output.
The physical data interfaces are a D25 connector for balanced data applications and a RJ45 for 10/100MBIT Ethernet IP traffic. The ADM5000 has inbuilt BUC powering capability able to power the Advent range of AUC3800 and AUC5800 BUCs via the 18V DC Phantomed onto the TX L band coax. The ADM5000 will also power 3rd party BUCs operating at 24VDC with a current requirement of less than 1.5A in the same manner. Similarly, a switchable 13V/17V DC supply can be Phantomed onto the RX L band cable for powering band switchable PLL LNBs. The ADM5000 also includes integral redundant HPA control (via FSK over TX L Band or via a separate control cable) and supports a wide range of TWTAs / SSPAs. The ADM5000 is fully software upgradeable for a variety of data interfaces and modulation scheme and is typically 50% of the size and a fraction of the weight of similar products. Thanks to its ½ rack width unit size, two units can be accommodated in a single 19" x 1 RU rackspace. Key Features- 2.4kb/s to 5Mb/s (option 20Mb/s) dependant on modulation and framing type
