Quadrant and OmniPole Antenna Systems for
Diversity Receive Site Applications

Central ENG/OB Receive Diversity Systems are very popular alternatives to high gain, directional steerable antenna systems where distance is not the primary requirement. The primary advantage for this style of receive antenna configuration is ease of operation. The SectorScan II Antenna offers a low profile, cost effective solution. These lightweight antennas offer an aesthetically pleasing design with a low wind load. Each antenna covers 90 degree in azimuth and can be mounted to various diameter frames with optional mounting kits. The antenna can be configured as a single sector antenna or as part of a quad array. The OmniPole receive antenna is typically installed at receive sites that have an unobstructed view and where minimal Operator interface is required. Both antenna types are well suited for installation in COFDM Diversity receive systems.
