AMG2100 Advanced Mobile GatewayThe AMG2100 provides mobile IP data connectivity between an ENG/OB vehicle and the studio allowing the vehicle to function as a node on newsroom or studio server network, when implemented with the ASG2100 Advanced Studio Gateway. The benefits of this connectivity include managing FTP file forwarding sessions, multiple application support, remote van management, network LAN extension, improving workflow automation, and vehicle diagnostics are just a few applications that may be implemented. Mobile data connectivity is maintained through 3G wireless networks utilizing EVDO, HSPA, or GSM technology. The mobile routing platform also supports configurable 802.11 WiFi network technologies that allow the AMG to be configured as a client with in a WiFi network or the capability to host clients as an axis point, or simple WiFi bridging connectivity. As a stand alone tool, the AMG can be tailored to fit your most demanding mobile network needs. When coupled with MRC’s MTX5000 ENG Mobile Transmitter they become an integral part of the industry leading ENG solution. In this mode the Advanced Mobile Gateway supports remote monitoring and control of the MTX5000, plus drag-and-drop file transfer capabilities.
