ACU5000 Series Antenna Controller The ACU5000 Antenna Controller is housed within a compact 5000 series ½ rack-width unit making this the smallest and lightest full-blown Antenna Control system in the marketplace.
At the entry level the ACU5012 is used for manual control of Advent’s range of motorised antenna systems whilst still enabling fully automatic STOW and DEPLOY. Addition of a GPS Antenna and Flux Gate compass allows the ACU5000 to be software upgradeable to ACU5214 AUTO-POINT or ACU5216 FULL AUTO ACQUISITION. The GPS and Compass can connect either directly to the ACU5000 or to a DCU5000 Drive Controller which is embedded in many Advent Antenna Systems. The AUTO POINT and AUTO ACQUISITION ACU521x Controllers include the full, upgradeable, Satfinder City and Satellite location database enabling positive ID of the satellite for the ACU5216. The ACU5216 upgrade also includes inclined orbit tracking capability and has an integral DVB-S demod to enable further confirmation of correct satellite via the embedded Transport Stream ID (TSID) signal if available. The ACU5000 series of controllers includes LNB powering and external reference via L band, 13V/18V LNB band switching and RX L band loop-thro’ as standard. Further variant of the ACU5xxx series are the ACU5210 and SF5000 which are available for non-motorised Flyaway Systems. These units include the same Satellite Database and enabled Beacon Receiver and can aid with locating the Satellite without the use of a Spectrum Analyser. A variable level and pitch audible tone is utilised in this operation. The ACU5210 is software upgradeable to turn on the motorisation control whereas the SF5000 is dedicated to manual antenna use. Key Features- ACU5000 series Antenna Controllers provide user friendly 3 speed motor control of azimuth, elevation and polarisation axis as well as automatic stow and deploy functions
